Blue Collar Metal | Posted June 16, 2009
If anyone likes Maylene & the Sons of Disaster, but is looking for a heavier vocal style, this is the band for you. This self declared blue collar metal band has an epic, yet brutal album here. It lacks variety, but they have a very cool sound. Album highlights include The Dust of a Town, Intimidator, and Gunfire is the Sound of Freedom.

Crazy awesome metal madness. | Posted March 01, 2008
New Solid State band Once Nothing bursts onto the scene with their major-label debut full-length album First Came the Law. The band describes themselves as blue coller metal. They are not kidding. This album is wicked cool. The screaming could do with a little touch-up, but the rest of the CD is one big head-bangin' experience. Skip track 6 and 12 and you'll still have 47 minutes of " funky, funky music." Once Nothing is a band that should be watched by people in the future.
