Now 25 years old, Jaci continues her growth as an artist and songwriter on her 5th studio album, Beauty Has Grace. The two-time Dove Award-winning Female Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year headed to London where she teamed up with British producer Martin Terefe. The new album has a refreshingly organic sound that reveals a new musical and lyrical side of Jaci.
She was actively involved throughout the recording of Beauty Has Grace, making it a personal statement of who she is as an artist. Jaci shares writing credits on six of the 10 songs (including two co-written with Dove Award winner Marc Byrd) which include lyrical content dealing with God's great love, personal struggle, and joy.

It's alright| Posted September 11, 2008
I love Jaci Velasquez and so I bought this cd but I don't think this is her best album.
To me, I didn't like the sound of it. Her album ~ Unspoken ~ is much much better.
The songs are just alright on this one. The songs I like the most are: "Lay It Down", "Tonight", and "Reason To Believe" and "With All My Soul". All in all, I give this cd 3 stars. I wish I could give it more, but I just can't :(

i love jaci velasquez!! she is a classic christian artist. Though old stuff doesn't even come close to how good her newer songs are , all of her music is good. !!!!!!!!
Not So Beautiful Or Graceful...| Posted September 05, 2008
"Beauty Has Grace" is by far the worst Jaci album ever. I agree with what "hillsongkid" said about it, and that Brit-pop/rock is just not Jaci's style. She should stick to the CCM stuff we know and love. Too bad "Lay It Down" was the ONLY single released from this album, but it didn't really deserve much success. The only songs I actually like on it are Lay It Down, Something Beautiful, With All My Soul, & I'm Not Looking Down. Once you pass "Something Beautiful" (track #5), the CD falls flat. Sorry Jaci, but not your best effort.
