Polarity [edit]
by The Wedding | Genre: Pop/Rock | Release Date: April 17, 2007

On 2007's POLARITY, the Arkansas-based Christian punk-pop act the Wedding offers an energetic set of emo-leaning songs. Like its secular counterparts Fall Out Boy, the group is restless enough to throw unexpected twists and turns into its tunes, as revealed on "Say Your Prayers," a fast-paced, guitar-heavy track that suddenly breaks into a jazzy, horn-laden interlude. For spiritually minded rock fans, this is a band to watch.

Say Your Prayers, These Guys Are Great | Posted August 25, 2007
Note: I've only heard "Say Your Prayers." That being said, it's a great song. This song easily has the most relevant lyrics of the year. Every verse, every part of the song is a lyrical journey about the trials of getting married, from a spiritual prospective. The song also rocks out like nothing else. This is a great rock song, and it really puts these guys on the map, especially since I've never heard of them before.

Great album! | Posted July 11, 2008
Oh wow. i love this album alot. My favorite song would have to be misery loves company, although i do love all the songs on here. The sound is great, but so are the lyrics, they actually mean something, unlike so many other bands who just make music to make money.

I got this cd on sale at a christian store because I liked the wedding and even though I thought this cd wasn't very good (I'd heard it before) I got it anyway. Wow! It was a lot better than I thought it was, and it had a lot more spiritual lyrics in it than I expected. I was very pleased with this cd

A Great Band | Posted October 13, 2007
This new band deserves more attention than it has been given. Their newest album, Polarity, is absolutely incredible. 'Say Your Prayers' was the first song I had ever heard by them and I fell in love with it right away. The diversity and sound of 'I'll Sleep When I'm Dead' and 'Schizophrenia' are very good and while the vocals aren't the best, the sound and lyrics make up for it. And while it isn't the most popular song on the album, 'Misery Loves Company' is my favorite song. All in all, The Wedding's a great band and you should definitely pick it up and give it a listen.

Sophomore release.
My favorite song would probably be Say Your Prayers. The lyrics for that one are awesome.

You kinda get that jumpy rock feeling like you did with their debut album so Wedding fans won't be disappointed at all.

What A Marrige! | Posted July 25, 2007
WOW.....That's all I can say after listening to the latest from "The Wedding". Polarity is a wonderful album for all rockers looking for a deeper message......and a little fun. This album is pretty good for five Arkansas hicks!(I can say that because I'm an original Arkie!) All-in-all this band is going places fast. I don't think they have got even close to the publicity that they deserve. Here is my contribution to letting people know about "THe Wedding".
