Switchfoot's Finest | Posted February 14, 2008
I've been listening to Switchfoot about a year now and I have all of their records but none of their previous albums compare to "The Beautiful Letdown". This album's overriding message is redemption with a little antimaterialism mixed in. My favorite track would have to be the worshipful "On Fire". Every track on the album is good but especially: "Meant To Live", "Redemption", "Gone", "Twenty-Four, and "Dare You To Move". Like I said earlier on in the review I greatly enjoyed this CD, I can't recommend it enough.

Beautiful Letdown is a Beautiful Hit. | Posted January 28, 2008
The major label debut from Switchfoot garnered these guys fame in Christian and secular audiences after this album came out. This is one of the best Christian albums of all time. Any music fan MUST, I repeat MUST have this album in their music collection.

A Masterpiece..... | Posted December 15, 2007
Switchfoot's first album with a major label and its a hit. A big, great hit. If you're into rock and alternative this is a biggy to have in your collection. Jon Foreman's voice shines and accents in each song. Bringing the flavor and meaning to it. The guitar riffs and playing really balances and soothes this album. Theres upbeats like Meant To Live, with a great intro and meaning and softies like 24 and Dare You to Move. I love how this album really balances out. Great vocals, great guitar, drums and especially its unique sound effects. Like Ammunition and More Than Fine and cool sound effects that really blended and spiced up the song.

Oh gosh, this is a definite album you'll love. Just get and you wont regret it.

The Bestest Of All! | Posted November 29, 2007
This album is by far the best of the Switchfoot albums in my opinion. There is a good variation of songs both slow and fast, both rock and popish. "Gone" is one of the greats on this cd and if all their albums of the future are as good as this one, they will definitely succeed in the music business.

Well made | Posted October 01, 2007
The first time I heard these guys, I thought they were really bad. Then I listened a little closer, and I am Hooked. These guys rock like nobody's business. Top songs, Meant to live, adding to the noise, and finally, on fire

I don't generally enjoy Switchfoot, but this album was great. It's something I could listen to over and over. I loved "Dare You to Move", "Redemption", "Gone" and "On Fire"
