It’s not every day you meet someone who is seems so secure in their insecurities. It’s the lovely sense of contrasts that is part of Charmaine. Her life as a modern-day gypsy has kept her anchored to her family and her life’s mission.
An only child of parents who immigrated to Australia from Chile, Charmaine was raised in Sydney, Australia. With music at the core of their family, her parents committed their lives to music ministry and traveled the world as part of a vocal group; Charmaine was born on tour in Los Angeles and raised out of a suitcase.
At 16, her musical gift was discovered by David Smallbone, father/manager of Rebecca St James. Mr. Smallbone invited Charmaine to record a project (“All About Jesus” 2002) for an Inpop imprint label, Elevate Records, and also to relocate to the states as an opening act for Rebecca St.James. Charmaine toured for 7 years with RSJ world-wide, then knew it was time to branch out on her own yet again.
In 2009 an opportunity to release an album of her own for in:ciite (formerly Indelible Creative Group); the record will hit the shelves March 30, 2010. “This project has exceeded our expectations and our support and belief in Charmaine goes beyond the music to the core of who she is as a person,” says Chris Thomason, CEO of in:ciite. Charmaine says The journey is not always easy but it’s an adventurous one walking it with Him, a message that can be found in her first single, “TOKYO!” releasing to radio 9-25-09.

Amazing. Hands down.| Posted July 28, 2011
I heard Love Reality a while ago. Time well spent. Finally Charmaine gets featured. One of the best pop artists i've ever heard. Keep it up! God bless.
Beautiful Christian, Beautiful Voice, Beautiful Character| Posted July 26, 2011
Had an opportunity to meet this excellent young woman at Creation West while serving KLOVE / AIR 1 as a servant. My youngest daughter Loves Charmaine and turned us "on" to her and we were blessed by her beautiful voice and wonderful character on stage.
This only became more pronounced as she came over to AIR 1 to give away some of her CD's to fans. This young lady is full of Grace and Love. I was amazed at her talking and sharing with any and every fan who approached her.
If you check out +K.C. Hartman on Google+ or via facebook you'll see some pictures she insisted I take of her and my Wife.
Listen up to this fabulous album and be lifted up and held in thrall by Charmaine's talent.
Where's the Faith?| Posted July 13, 2011
I heard her song Run and I really liked it, but as I looked up other songs of hers, the lyrics just didn't show her faith. When you look her up on iTunes her genre is Pop, not Christian and Gospel... that just makes me second guess myself in terms of listening to her music.
Great Music!| Posted March 08, 2011
Her dad worked at the summer camp i go to. He was (is) the BEST! He introduced me to her music when i was 7. I've love her music ever since.
Run| Posted February 14, 2011
