In a world where an ever-evolving music industry is leaving behind its humble roots, Joy is a bluegrass inspired artist who captures a refreshing glimpse of the past and offers a refreshing emphasis on Christ and the word of His grace, blending simplicity with stunning beauty. Joy was born and raised in rural Mississippi where she learned to value the simple beauty of things like a sunset or a gentle fall breeze on a sunny afternoon.  Though only twenty years of age, she has grown up loving and serving those around her in a deep and meaningful way. People from all walks of life and a multitude of nations, races, creeds, and cultures have come through the family home and been touched by her gentleness, warmth, hospitality, and love. Her music is a reflection of who she is as a person; beautiful, deep, simple, and elegant. It celebrates the greatness of her Savior, and His power that made the heavens and the earth, raised Jesus from the dead, and that continues to conform her more and more into His image.

Passing these countless gravestones in a nearby cemetery on her drive home day after day, the sobering reminder that life is short causes her to question many things as she realizes life is as a vapor and she must make the most of her time.
