Carol Cornish is a counselor, teacher, and author. Active in women's ministries, she has taught women's Bible studies including the discipleship and training of women's ministry leaders. Believing that the Scriptures call for counseling to be done in the local church, Carol has been a biblical counselor for over twenty years.
Graduating from seminary with high honors, Carol received a Master's degree in biblical studies with concentration in counseling. She served at the seminary as dean of women and as an adjunct lecturer in the department of practical theology.
Carol earned a Certificate in Pastoral Counseling from the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF) of Glenside, Pennsylvania and counseled part-time for CCEF.
In 1997, the book Women Helping Women (Harvest House) was co-edited and co-authored by Carol. This book was a Final Nominee for the Gold Medallion Book Award of the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association receiving a silver medallion.
Carol is a mother and grandmother. Besides playing with her grandchildren, Carol enjoys fitness walking, reading, watercolors, digital photography, gardening, and spending time with friends.
