Whether it’s comforting those who are ill, exhorting parents to read to their children, or encouraging women, Judy Gann’s passion is to offer hope and encouragement through her speaking and writing. She is the author of The God of All Comfort: Devotions of Hope for Those Who Chronically Suffer (AMG Publishers). Her current writing projects include a book for parents on sharing books with young children and a book for women alone.
An award-winning children’s librarian and expert in the field of early literacy, Judy coordinates CAN’s public library marketing efforts. She frequently speaks to parent groups, chronic illness support organizations, women’s ministry groups, and teaches at writers conferences. Judy lives in Washington State where, when she isn’t writing or speaking, she enjoys reading, collecting children’s books (pre-1960’s), cheering the Seattle Mariners, and taking long walks—even in the rain.
