Near the end of his life the Apostle Paul exhorted Timothy to "Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage – with great patience and careful instruction" (II Tim. 4:2). Billy Graham accepted this same charge in the summer of 1938. The world has not been the same since.

Dr. Graham has preached before 80 million people worldwide and has seen 3 million people commit their lives to Christ at his crusades. Moreover, through his work with The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Dr. Graham helped organize the 1966 World Conference on Evangelism in Berlin and the 1974 International Congress on World Evangelization in Lausanne. Through these events, as well as his more recent work with itinerant evangelists throughout the world, Dr. Graham has sought to ensure that the gospel is heard by people from every tribe, tongue and nation.
