Palmer grew up living in Liberia, West Africa and later to lived in Malawi.While living internationally he experienced firsthand the shock of coup d'etats, the devastation of civil war, the ravaging pain of pandemics like AIDS and malaria, and the daily burden of extreme poverty.These life pictures are branded into the core of who Palmer is and fuel his passion to inspire others to give their lives away.
During his years of leading large college ministries in Southern California and Wheaton, Illinois Palmer led hundreds of college students on cross-cultural ministry experiences to Africa, Central America, and Cuba. Today Palmer leads The Grove in Chandler, Arizona. The Grove is a vibrant, young, and rapidly expanding gathering of Christ-followers committed to changing this world for good.
Palmer holds a PhD in Educational Studies from Trinity in Deerfield, IL and a MA and BA in Intercultural Studies from Biola University in La Mirada, CA.
