"Rami Kivisalo is a former gangster who worked closely with the Russian Mafia distributing drugs in Europe before finding Christ in prison. He was raised in Finland by Christian parents, but drifted toward crime and violence before moving to Tanzania as a teenager. He trained in kung-fu, karate and tae kwon doe with a martial arts master deeply immersed in witchcraft, and then returned to Finland, where he began his career in international crime.

He started selling steroids and set up an illegal national alcohol distribution network, rising within the ranks of criminals swiftly through ruthlessness and violence. At twenty he established an alliance with a major Russian Mafia gang and launched an amphetamine distribution network in Europe. He clashed with competing gangs, nearly ending up in the mortuary. Always an entrepreneur, he diversified into arms around the world, just before being sentenced to prison in Finland 1997 for four years.

He continued his business in prison, but was saved after a period of intense spiritual wrestling. He was released from prison in 1998. After many temptations, falls and failures, he left his violent and sinful past behind and committed himself to a life of nonviolence. His memoir in Finnish, Gangsterin Testamentti, was published by Data Universum in 2008, and his story has been covered extensively by Finnish mainstream and Christian media.

While not travelling, Rami works with the family business, a wholesale fish merchant in Lappajarvi, Finland. he is married to Evelina."
