In July 1945, a secret U.S. mission dropped the first atomic bomb — on Tokyo — only it never detonated and was never recovered.
Fifty years after this failed attempt, Air Force Major Don Stewart takes a position at the American Embassy in Tokyo. A committed Christian, Stewart moves his family to Japan, where he is assigned to work with Toshiro Okawa of Japanese Internal Security. They are investigating Sam Owens, an American connected to the secret 1945 failed atomic bomb mission who was recently killed in Hibiya Park.
Don and Toshiro discover that a dangerous Japanese terrorist group has been active in that area as well. As Don gets closer to the truth and the terrorist group kidnaps his family, Don and Toshiro must race to save not only his family but stop the terrorists from detonating the long-dormant lost bomb.
Don must confront and overcome the terrorists in the middle of Tokyo Bay in the middle of a typhoon.
