This book was so amazing. I could not put it down, because the second I picked began reading I was too into it to put it down. The book gave so many twists and turns, it began to get so intense and it felt like you were there. This book combined my two favorte authors and they did an amazing job together. I would recommend this book to anyone who reads and can't wait for Dekker and Peretti to collaborate again.

The book is awesome...a very chilling twisted story...I highly recommend all you thrill seekers to read the book...you wont be disappointed. Once you pick up the book, i guaranteed you won't want to put it down.
there is also the movie...not to happy about it but its ok to watch

At first I thought the book was a cheesy horror book about haunted houses, but I was very surprised. I loved this book, there are many intricate details in it which makes it interesting. There are surprises throughout the book, and it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I couldn't put it down. Not only did I get a little scare out of it, I was also spiritually filled.

I had such a hard time trying to peel myself away from this book! I'm so glad that I don't ever have to go through that twisted reality.
This book is a masterpiece. They have done an excellent job on this book. Literally keeping you on the edge of you seat.

I had not read any books by Ted Dekker or Frank Peretti. This book was beyond what I expected. I remember always wanting to continue reading. It was absolutely a great book and now I continue to read more books by these two amazing authors. Keep up the good work.

IT was a great book!! A little creepy at times but I expected from reading other books by these genius writers. I loved how it slightly connected with other books by Ted Dekker, with the villains name (found that in one of the other books, oops)
Want to read it again and can't wait to get my hands on the movie!!

i think its a good book maybe ill read it. i only read ghost story books because their story line is great. i love to feel my spine tingle and also the hair on my back stand stright. the tell of blood gusing from and 3year old dead mans body.

This was the first Ted Dekker book I got and now I'm hooked.It has a great plot full of interesting twists.The characters make it for me Jack,Stephanie,Leslie,Randy,Betty,Stewart,Pete,and white he is the best villian you could ask for, very spooky!I t asks the question do we truely know our spirt like we should would we notice how cynical we've become?I t's amazing book two thums up!!!

I love this book. it is very well written and powerful. but .........it seemed like the writing was more ted dekker than frank peretti...ted dekker is more deeper than frank, and the writing seemed like more of him and less of frank peretti. it also was a bit disgusting at parts. but i lvoe murder mysteries, suspense and christian fiction, and this was a mix of all of it
