This story could have come straight from the headlines about many schools around the country and will lead kids and young adults to an understanding of peer pressure and the pain that comes from being different.

In Baker, Washington, three popular student athletes lie in comas following loss of muscle coordination, severe paranoia, and hallucinations. It's whispered that they're victims of Abel Frye, the cursed ghost who has haunted the school since he died there in the 1930s. Now the curse is spreading, and the students are running scared.

Veritas means truth and this series is uniquely positioned to help teenagers discover truth for themselves. As the author of This Present Darkness and as someone who struggled through his teenage years, no one is better suited than Frank Peretti to join with readers on this quest for truth.

So exciting | Posted July 16, 2009
This book just kept me guessing. All the little twists and turns makes it kind of hard to put down. This is a must read for any teenager. Frank Peretti has done a great job with this one.

LOVED it! =D | Posted September 10, 2008
I just finished reading this today and I loved it! I saw the movie before reading the book, and while the movie was really good, the book was WAY better. I also thought it was cool how Frank brought the evolution vs. creation and relativism vs. absolutism debates up a little (using very good arguments, too).

Interesting Book | Posted April 10, 2008
The book was a lot better than the movie, I didn't like how a lot of details were excluded from the movie(though the movie was really good too). This was a very well written book about the dangers of occults or sects with in very good plot line and plot twists.

this was an awesome book and the movie kinda angered me becuz there was a lot of stuff that happened that they didn't put in the movie. and there were waaaaaayyyy more spiders in the book than they put in the movie.

Interesting book | Posted March 04, 2008
The book is good enough as it is. I also saw the movie which helped clear up some things in the book i was a bit confused about. I wasn't a big fan of the ending however, but to each his own I suppose.

I've read both Veritas Project books. This one I could focus on real well. The twist at the end was surprising and left me ecstatic. Frank Peretti sure knows how to write a great book!!!!!
