Hey Everyone
Here is another open opportunity for anyone to earn 25 Bonus Points. We are really looking to get the word out about NRT and there's nothing like the good old fashion word of mouth to get things rolling.
This is where you come in.
We need you to write your best review of NRT and the NRTeam. By "best" I mean a well thought out post that HONESTLY talks about your opinions on NewReleaseTuesday.com and the NRTeam. If you think there are areas of improvement this site can make, please put it in your review. If you think the site is horrible and needs to be reworked from the ground up, put it in your review. If you think the site and NRTeam is the best thing since sliced bread, put it in the review.
Here are your only requirements:
1. Your review must be no less than three paragraphs and include a review of the overall site and mention of the NRTeam. We're looking for solid reviews, not quick thoughts to get a few more NRTeam Points.
2. You must post our FULL site URL at the bottom of your review. (Ex. Visit http://www.newreleasetuesday.com to learn more.)
3. You must post your review on another site and it HAS to be viewable to the public. If you have a closed profile at another social site and I can't get to it without signing into my account, it won't count.
That's it. Once you've written your review, post a link and I'll award you 20 bonus points. If I feel you've been honest and complete in your review (again, don't suck up - I don't care about that, I just want honest and complete) then you'll get another 15 bonus points for a total of 35.
Thanks for your continued hard work in getting the message out about NRT! Let me know if you have any questions.

New Release Tuesday is a great site that i would recomend to anyone who enjoys christian music, it's better than myspace. Here you get rewarded for your posts, instead of gossiped about behind your back, it's a whole different attitude.
NRTeam isn't perfect though. I don't personally know anyone on here, and only one other member is from my state. Somedays i can't go here because the site could not be found. Oh, and thanks for taking up all the lyrics, i really can't find any songs that don't already have lyrics. It also be nice if the merch was cheaper, and why is it so hard to get a shirt in all the sizes, instead of one? It also wouldn't hurt to update the store more often, and it would also be great if you kind get better cd's, like other than the various artist samplers. Although I guess you can't complain when your getting free stuff.
Probably my favorite thing about this site is the blogs, i love being random. It's also cool that I can check out what people are saying about cd's and stuff before i buy them, people like me, not the new york times or epert and roper. You can also make a few friends in the process. So check it out, or....evil leprichons will hijack a british ocean liner, go to canada, pull up a tree from the ground, hotwire some guys truck, drive to where ever you live and beat you in your sleep.... or something like that....just go to www.newreleasetuesday.com before its too late, that or take a flight to britan as soon as the whole hijacking news breaks out, take your pick.
Thanks for the honest review emery! Lots of great ideas for NRT to continue to use to get better. One thing, I need this posted elsewhere on NRT. Let me know when that's done, link to it, and I'll give you the points.
I could write a review of the site. But I don't have anywhere to post it. Our computer doesn't let me go to any of the social networking sites. And that's the only place where I could post that. Unless I'm forgetting someplace.
New Release Tuesday is one of my favorite sites on the web. I get to do talk about my favorite hobby- listening to Christian Music- and get free stuff for it! Most other sites who say you get "free" things have hidden fees and costs, or have impossible point expectations. That's the thing I love about NRT (New Release Tuesday)- they are open and honest with you.
They have a ton of great things on the site- blogging, forums, reviews, artists profiles...and if you help contribute to the site, you can get free t-shirts, cds, dvds, stickers, etc;. I have gotten various things in the time of one month- and I have loved all of it!!
If I could change some things, it would probably be the items in the store. Maybe having more cd's instead of the music samplers. When I got my first one, I didn't really like any of the songs because I hadn't really known what I was buying. (My suggestion- more detailed descriptions of the songs of the cd's.) Also, the items to purchase are getting really expensive. I get that new members are joining everyday, but some things have jumped up a hundred points!!
Overall, I think New Release Tuesday is a great site. They continue to amaze me with how awesome the site is and the staff is very nice and friendly. I reccommend anyone who is a fan of Christian music to join- you won't regret it!

I don’t know if you guys have heard about the New Release Tuesday (www.newreleasetuesday.com) web site, but I recently started using it and it is such a cool site. Even if you aren’t as passionate about Christian music as I am, it is a great resource for all your Christian music needs. You can find out when your favorite Christian artist is releasing a new cd, you can get those lyrics to the song you heard on the radio and just can’t get out of your head, you can read reviews on albums before you buy them, there are also interviews and podcasts featuring your favorite artists and much more!
I originally signed up for the weekly e-mail notification of new cd releases, but the other day I joined the NRTeam so I could listen the entire new David Crowder*Band cd before it even released. At the time, I had no idea how many other perks came along with this membership. The NRTeam is a lot like myspace but way better because for every way you participate (adding friends, posting blogs, adding artist profiles/song lyrics, etc.) you earn points. These points can be cashed in for all kinds of good, free stuff including cds, t-shirts, books, autographed stuff, DVDs and more! The best part is…it’s all FREE (even the shipping on your prizes). I’ve only been a member a few days and I already have 65 points! I can’t wait to cash them in for a prize.
Having a husband in the youth ministry, we need to stay up-to-date on what is happening in the Christian music industry and NRT.com is the perfect place for us to do so. If you are working with youth, may I highly recommend that you check-out NRT.com. One thing I wish NRT.com would have is a section of artist comparisons where you can compare secular artists to Christian artists. This would be awesome in helping the kids find Christian alternatives to the secular music they like. We have, however used NRT.com to post upcoming new releases in our youth room at church to help keep the kids informed. It’s a wonderful tool for anyone, I think.

New Release Tuesday is a brilliant site which i would recommend to anyone is a christian or just loves christian music and the best thing about it is that you get free stuff from it with no hidden things like postage!!!! They are so open and honest and dont mind spending cash to send your gifts over seas!!!
You can blog, speak in the forum, review CDs and artist profiles and much more just because you are helping to make NRT even better they will give you point which can be spent on Cds, Dvds, t-shirts, books, stickers etc. My first gift i got was a bookazine of the new testament!! It was brilliant!!! Just remember to reseach the product on the internet before you buy it because i nearly brought and bookazine just for boys which im not cause im a girl!! The point needed for gifts have really gone up which means it even harder to get gifts another thing is i dont really know anyone on the site as i dont speak to anyone, there is only like 4 people from the UK on the site and there all older than me!!
Overall i think this site is brilliant!!!! It spends loads of money on people abroad like nearly $20 on the product and postage!!! The site is safe and friendly, no weridos who want to see u on webcam!! lol woo at last a safe site!! Join this site you will be missing out if you dont!!!
Check out this new site called http://www.newreleasetuesday.com! You can get all of the latest information on Christian music new releases and earn points to get prizes in the process! It has everything that you could ever want from a Christian music site including album reviews, artist profiles, and lyrics, and is also a place to meet other Christians and blog.
The free stuff would have to be my favorite part of the site. Everything you do on the site counts for some kind of points. This includes adding friends, blogging, submitting lyrics, adding in artist or album information, writing reviews, writing in the forums, and other miscellaneous things. After you have gotten so many points you can go into the store and redeem your points for CD’s, shirts, books, movies, and all kinds of stuff with no cost to you at all. NRT pays for shipping and everything. I have already gotten a CD and two books completely free in the mail!
I love the album reviews on NRT. As a member of the NRTeam, you can both submit and read album reviews from almost any Christian music artist out there. I have read them many times as a way of determining whether or not I wanted to buy a CD or not. It is a good resource for anyone, like me, who buys lots of music because they generally show what the album is like from every perspective.
http://www.newreleasetuesday.com is still undergoing constant change and has a few bugs. There are times when I can’t get on the site, but it is still a new site, and the NRTeam Administration is usually pretty good with getting things like that fixed in a short period of time. Other than this small little problem, I think that this site is one of the best sites I have ever used!
So again, log on to http://www.newreleasetuesday.com right now and sign up for a free account! It is definitely worth your time!
I have recently found this site, and believe it is a very good way to preview music of artists. They have Full length CD’s (ex; Falling Up’s unreleased album Captivia) to be released October 2nd this album as of the end of this week will not be up for preview anymore. While it may seem as a down side that you only get a week, one must put into perspective that it was meant for release on Oct. 2nd! I feel this web site is quite an addition to the music world.
However, upon checking out their myspace I discovered that it is an all Christian music site, which I might add I love. But no where did I see it pointed out in plain attention that it was Christian. None the less have no fear… I lie not!
The layout of the site thought very common still has a sense of originality. With the colors that would normally when seen look bla… look attractive, that has to be worth looking at! Although in my opinion the text layout could use some work, but where as it does not appeal to me it may appeal you others.
Another great thing about it is the fact you can join the NRTeam, where you can earn points toward prizes and help spread the word of the site! It doesn’t take long to sign up simply a few questions an email and your set! Once signed in you’ll really see why I like it!
But over all I def think is this worth checking out, join the team, have a look around listen to some music and why not even look for lyrics?? One thing thought just for a warning that got me was once you sign up it will tell you to active your account (if it says NRTeam that’s you) just click it and enter your username and password! That easy!!
So if you’re sitting at your computer thinking what is I going to do...well… now you know!
Thanks everyone! I feel like I'm back in high school buying pop and candy for all my "cool" friends so I could hang out in their awesome amazing click. Man high school was a joke. Don't fall for it everyone: one you hit college, everyone is on the same level. Dumb and desperate for friendships.
I've awarded points to those that posted on a public forum.
emery683, elphaba, nmperkins15 and TheGirlOfGod - right now, your reviews are hidding on your private profiles. I have to either sign in or become your friend to read them. I need these posted in a public place where anyone can access them. The reason? If I can't get to it, neither can search engines and that's the main reason we're doing this. We want to get the word out about NRT. Can you find a public place where you can post this that isn't hidded behind your profile sign in?
art10 - Sorry to hear about your lack of access to other sites. I realize this is not a promotion for everyone.
