Honestly, I can't say I like any of those at all. The first two look like cheese from the 80's and they'd probably cause me to avoid the album. HB's isn't too bad but I never like an album cover with the band on the front really. Just seems like a cop out because they couldn't think of anything. Mine as far as Christian releases are concerned are:

I agree, the first 2 make it look dumb and the 3rd seems bland. I really like the cover for Trenches' debut

If anyone's seen my comment on various bands' lyrics, you know I'm a huge fan of lyrical representations of spiritual warfare. Thus, it's sort of appropriate that my favorite album cover is a physical depiction of spiritual warfare colliding around us. Oops, did I give it away? Heh.

This has been my favorite album cover since it came out, and I don't see any other album cover replacing it any time soon:
