I wouldn't be surprised. I like rock and metal but I also like classical, and a good bit of those descriptions fit me

I fit almost all those descirptions at different points in my life.

Then again, I also like almost all those different genres.

That's a pretty pointless study. Most people are fans of multiple genres of music, so they shouldn't try to pin description words on us.

Attaching stereotypes to music genres is never good... For the sake of conversation I will say that the description they gave to indie sounds like it'd be better for the whole emo-goth scene but even then it doesn't work. Of course they use the word 'generally' a lot to save face.
