House of Heroes

they have an artist profile here and a bit written about them but i was wondering if anyone has anymore first hand experience,

their new album called, 'the end is not the end' seems to be good, i know its not conventional in any way but is it still worth listening to as a fan of rock?

Listen to it, it's a lot of fun. Its more pop than rock but I rarely listen to pop and I like it a lot. The melodies are great, the lyrics are much better than typical christian pop, and the vocals go together well.

I'm definitely going to check this out at some point. It's gotten pretty rave reviews as being both epic and different. Both ingredients that bode well for me.

I listened to it a couple times on absolutepunk.net, it isn't epic by any means but it's a solid album and better than any christian pop album i've heard before

I own it and it is FABULOUS. I got it last friday and alll ready know most of the words....it is a tad, just a tad, bit poppy sounding, BUT it doesn't make it sound cheesy or over-produced....Definetly one of the best cd so far in 2008.

Ok- How in the world did this one miss my radar??? House of Heroes is a very gifted band. Say No More was a great album, and when I saw them in July, they played alot of songs from the new album as well. They're trying some new things, and doing it very well! In the Valley of the Dying Sun has been- quite deservedly- getting alot of play on christianrock.net.

If you're looking for something a little different, House of Heroes is one of your best choices.
