Maybe I'd be overreacting if I did but what I've been waiting for what seems like ages finally happened. The Listening have updated their myspace page and have a crazy video featuring clips of new material and announcement via a Star Trek-like blog for a new album to hit in 2009. 
For those of you who have read my 10-page long review of their debut album released in 2005, you'll know it's my favorite CD of all-time.  Not only am I seeing them on the 10th, for the first time, but they have a new EP to buy at the shows. I couldn't be more excited for any new material by any band (yes, my beloved Jars of Clay doesn't match this) than them. Please check them out if you haven't because it's among the most artistic and original Christian music you'll find. They have a few old songs up too, including my favorite, The Undiscovered.

I know there isn't really any fans of this band out there but you are doing yourself a huge disservice in not giving them a try. |

If I'm a 'she' my whole life has been a lie...
I did go to that concert and it was amazing. There were a lot of lighting effects (including the seizure-riffic strobe lights) and a video was playing behind them during the song. Naturally I've already pre-ordered the EP and can't wait to get it. |

It's OK to like a band a lot. I used to be that way with Audio Adrenaline, now I'm that way with Disciple. |
