Anyone else out there play real-time-strategy games on a PC platform? My all-time favorite is Age of Empires 2: Conquerors expansion. In my opinion it is better than the third AOE or any other games of that type available. However I have never played most of the available games, anyone have an opinion on civilization 3? That one looked good.

I have Civ 3, it's pretty fun. Lots of different ways to win. I also like the map editor feature that came with mine so I can design my own maps.

Yeah, AOE 2 comes with a sweet map editor, Civ3 looks like it is much more a stratergy game rather than just BUILD BUILD BUILD like age of empires. How is it for multi-player games? Do you need extra copies of the game or can you just use one disc like in Age of Empires:Rise of Rome.

Age Of Empire probably has to be my favourite PC game series. It's pretty awesome, we have all of them. I haven't played 3 much yet, but it seems a lot easier than the others, but is hugely different from the other 2.

My friend got a crack for it, so now everyone plays it at school over the LAN connection.
