NRT iPhone App

How many have checked it out, and what are your thoughts?

Hey Bill, I've checked it out and I LOVE it. Unfortunately I have a BlackBerry Curve instead of an iPhone and I can access the site from my BlackBerry but the features of the iPhone app look amazing.

I don't have an Apple I Phone. I have a simple Virgin pre-paid cell phone which I rarely use.

It's great for anybody who has one though!

My cousin has an iPod Touch though and I was thinking of asking him to download it so that I could see it.

I have an iPod Touch and yes I did download it, it's AWESOME! Very Happy

I can access the site without it but it's easier with the App. Very Happy

I plan on reviewing it as soon as I can. Wink

it makes it easy to see new and upcoming albums and to look up the old stuff but there is more that can be done with it.

if they added a way to log into NRT and maybe even use the forum (like the facebook app allows you to easily do facebook things) then it will have lasting value.

but other then that its excellent.

Please write one as soon as you can.

ZZ - I 100% agree with you. This is V1. V2.0 will be out mid-April and we'll be incorporating all of our content into the app including PodCasts, Music News, Interviews, Articles and Devotions!

Eventually, we will be adding the NRTeam to this as well, so you'll be able to manage your profile, write reviews, etc. Not sure about the forum but we'll certainly look into it.

We'll also be adding things like Bookmarks (so you can tags your favorite artists and albums for later viewing) and Galleries (we'll be updating NRT next month with artist galleries that you'll also be able to view in the app).

So don't get discouraged yet, this is just Day 2 of what will be a very long dedication on our part to continue to improve it.

Tell as many people as you know about this. We need it to be successful! How awesome would it be to have a Christian Music App everywhere in iTunes? We're already #63 in the top 100 FREE Music Apps, in just 2 days!

The second I get my iPod Touch, I'm downloadin this app! Can't wait for the fall!! (that's when I get my iPod)
