The 2009 NRTreasure Hunt Has Begun!
Welcome to the 1st Annual NRTreasure Hunt, an interactive online hunt that will send you all over NewReleaseTuesday.com and our partner sites to uncover a hidden message worth NRTeam Points and exclusive prizes! The hunt starts on Sunday, October 25, 2009 and ends at midnight MTN on Monday, November 30, 2009.
How To Play
This hunt has many different layers that will keep you guessing and entertained for hours. The main goal of the NRTreasure Hunt is to collect 24 letters scattered across NRT and various partner websites using clues that will guide you along. Once you've collected all of the letters, they will unscramble to form a three word phrase. Each of these phrases are BONUS NRTEAM POINT CODES worth a whopping 175 bonus points each for a total of 475 bonus points!
The Loot Up For Grabs

| Hey, I am completely stuck on the first question of the treasure hunt. In fact, I really don't understand even if you do guess it how will you be able to know for sure. I mean do you go to the person's profile or go to their official website. I am just really confused. So if someone could at least get me started on that much I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks! |

So far, the response has been incredible. And everyone seems to really like it. I think we can certainly expand this idea in the near future and have them a few times a year. It was a lot of work to put together though. I probably spent at least 10 hours coming up with the clues and putting it on the site (thanks to Calvin at http://www.thechristianmanifesto.com for helping me out with a few of them).
But, I have a lot of ideas to really expand this in the future. I think you'll see it again sooner than later.

| I *love* online treasure hunts. I wish I had more than an hour a day online so I had a chance at finishing in time, but oh well... still fun, and I'm still going to unscramble these letters and get my points... xD |

Can't help feeling sorry for whoever has to go around and take all the clues down when the hunt is over. |
