The age-old question, LOL. I'm sticking with PC. |

| I like PC just because it is what I am used to, but my husband swears by MAC and wants to get one for himself. It is what we use at church in the sound booth and to put the words to the song up at church. I must say that it seems pretty user friendly and has great graphics. |

| I prefer PC. I don't like some of the computers at school that use Mac. Maybe it's because I'm used to PCs. I don't know. |

| Even though Macs are probably safer, I'm more used to PCs and more programs are available for the PC. |

If my avatar doesn't answer the question, nothing will.
I pretty much decided I wanted a computer that could boot on Monday AND Tuesday, edit my videos without losing them, and not run IE7.
I have yet to find anything I can do on a PC not avaliable on the Mac, aside from getting viruses or playing major games. On the Mac, games are usually on the web or sold as shareware rather than commercially produced. But that's what consoles are for.
BTW, aren't Nancy Drew games co-published through EA? (The first one was, at least). EA is going Mac this year, as they find it easier to code for the Mac in the long run. |

| All I know is that the Nancy Drew games are made by Her Interactive, Inc. What does EA stand for? |

I know everyone's gonna be asking "what?", but I am soon to be downloading and experimenting with Fedora, a Linux distro. I still use windows, but I am trying to become familar with Linux as well.
Yes, there is a whole other operating system other than Windows or Mac, the term PC covers both Linux and Windows. And Linux is free.
So I guess to answer your question - PC. |

You can also run Linux on a mac
I'm doing a degree in computer science at the moment, working on my macbook pro, then transferring to a windows PC and then playing with an ubuntu (linux) machine.
Out of the three, I must say the mac is my favourite, followed by ubuntu with windows being last!
Recommendation to people interested, give all three a try, then you can have a fair view |

I'm going to say that I like PCs.
That's because I don't have enough experience with Macs to say whether I prefer them or not.
PCs are all I've ever used on a regular basis.
It's what I'm used to; I know Windows well.
Still, Mac gives a good first impression... |

| We shouldn't even be having this debate. Because the new Mac's with the Intel chip can run both Mac OS X and Windows. Even the WSJ calls the Mac the best computer overall, because of all that it offers. Safety from virus and hackers, user friendly, works seamlessly with 3rd party software and hardware. Most people who put down a Mac have never used one. It is a fact that Mac's have a much higher customer satisfaction. But if you still prefer your Windows based machine, that is okay. That is what makes the USA a great country. You can still chose some things in life. God bless. |
