Here's what's happening TODAY in Christian music...

1. O.B.B. is back in the studio at the Thulin Brothers' 3 Studios, and producer David Thulin says it didn't take long for Nich Oswald to kick him out of the producer's chair. Yep, on Day One, Nich was already taking charge.

2. Random Hero lead singer Aaron Watkins was excited that the lyric video for his new song, "Love Will Conquer," from his solo album, got 1,000 views in just three days. View the video here.

3. JoshuaFest had a very special moment this weekend, as Switchfoot's Jon Foreman crashed Kings Kaleidoscope's set. To say the least, it was a memorable experience for both the worship band and those in attendance.

4. When it's a choice between luggage or band gear, it was an easy answer for Switchfoot and Building 429. Jesse Garcia of Building 429 said their small plane couldn't handle everything they had in tow.

5. Mac Powell of Third Day had a need for speed, and so when he was in Pigeon Forge this weekend, he took his daughter to the NASCAR SpeedPark.

6. We're waiting to hear the full story on this one, but apparently this weekend for KING & COUNTRY's tour bus broke down and the guys had to take a passenger bus instead. And somehow when travelling down from Northern California to Southern California, they ended up at a Wal-Mart and stocked up on pillows and sleeping bags. See what we're talking about here.

7. Dara MacLean is in Israel, and had a rather surreal and life-changing moment when she sang the Hillsong UNITED hit song "Oceans" while going across the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus walked. See a clip of the special moment here.

8. Phil Wickham had his own "take your daughter to work day," where he let his nearly four-year-old daughter Penelope tag along on official musician business.

Quotes (3)

1. "No matter what it seems like, feels like or looks like, you STILL have hope. Don't ever believe the lies that the things you face today will never change." - Danny Gokey

2. "In the end I want my life to be a message, not a fairytale." - Derek Minor

3. "God himself invites us to live in His house. That is the kind of love that pierces through the night." - Fearless BND (formerly known as Worth Dying For)
