Yeah, I live in Ohio so it usally doesn't get to more than 100 degrees. But when it does swimming always does the trick. :)
My summer's been busy on and off. Lately it's been pretty slow so I've been able to babysit more so that means more cash! :)
My church has a VBS every year and I usally help out with the little kids but I'll be out of town during it this year :(

Sorry I didn't reply sooner. Anyway, I haven't read House yet or any of Ted Dekker's books, but I really really want to! My mom and my uncle love Ted Dekker's stuff and have made me excited to read his books! If only they weren't so often absent at my library... but I guess it's a good thing! Happy late Birthday, btw!

"Lilith" by George Macdonald, "Up a Road Slowly" by Irene Hunt, "A Thousand Tomorrows"by Karen Kinsbury, and "This Present Darkness" & "Monster" by Frank Peretti are THE best books in the world, hands down xD

The Guardian by Joan Wolf great book, fun to read but you never knew what was going to happen next. so don't start it at night because you will be up all night long reading to see how it ends! i would've liked to see some more overtly Christian themes, though.

Monster by Frank Peretti i love everything Frank Peretti has written, but he really hit the nail on the head with this one.
not only does the story suck you in and keep you there until you've read the last page, it's got a deep spiritual message with a LOT of angles.
