I had to re-read the Lay of Beren and Luthien, but now it's all coming back to me, and yes, Huan is awesome! Actually, Beren, Luthien, and Felagund are all awesome too. I definitely need to re-read the Silmarillion cover to cover after I finish my current book.
I know, it must be terrifying to get up there and jump for the first time...
Not downhill, but I do do some cross-country skiing in the winter. Speaking of cross-country, I don't know how those Olympians do 40-50km races on skis, they must be almost superhuman. I wish I was in that good of shape. :)

Ah! I can't remember who Huan is, now I need to re-read that book again, ASAP. ;)
I've never actually done it, unless you count video games (believe it or not curling is actually a sport on Winter Games for the Wii) but it looks like fun, far easier then say, aerials. I don't know if I really have a favorite event, I get really into a lot of the different sports. I'd like to try just about all of them at least once. :)

No, not really, I remember some parts quite well, but it's been a few years since I last read it, so I've forgotten a lot too. I don't know if I really have a favorite part, but Glorfidel and Tuor are two of my favorite characters. :)
I've been a few times, but I was young enough I didn't really get into it. Since then, I've been beaten numerous times in Wii bowling though. ;) Right now I think I'd prefer curling to bowling - have you been following the Olympics much? I'm pretty much addicted. :)

If you've read The Silmarillion you are officially awesome, and if you've read the Lost Tales you're awesomer yet. I don't remember much about The Lost Tales, but I'm pretty sure they'd be similar with The Unfinished Tales.
I'll have to keep my eyes open for the Circle Trilogy then. :)

Galactic Conquest by Eleventyseven I first saw this CD at a Best Buy just sitting there by the Christian section, the last copy left. I don't usually guy stuff before listening to it, though, so I just made a note of it and left.
Weeks later, after getting it from the library, I wonder ...
