Nothin' much. I'm hanging out around the house and being occasionally bored but I'm glad school's over!
So, what's up?

The Indiana Jones movie, that is. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

We're just a couple o' biased critics. I'm looking forward to hearing what your second take on the film is like.

Talk to you later!

Actually, to be honest, I didn't like the movie. I liked some of it, and I can understand why they departed from the book in some places, but I thought that there was too much added content that took away from other necessary character-building-time. It seemed to me that when the black dwarf died, his charcter hadn't been portrayed evil enough to be stabbed in the back. Other little details like that that seemed to take away from the climatic moments I wanted to see.

However, this is coming from a strong C. S. Lewis fan, and though I don't believe I judged the movie by the book, I may be sub-consciously biased. :) Glad you enjoyed it! I loved The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Just not this one.

I did see the new Indy movie and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of that. It was an Indy adventure through and through. It made up for my disappointment with Narnia. Don't let my negative words change your view on the film! :) Hope you enjoy watching it again! Tell me how it is the second time around!

Til next time,
Andrew

Christ Is Come by Big Daddy Weave
A friend told me about this band. At first I was a bit skeptical, since their genre is not really my preferred type of listening, and by habit I tend to avoid the bigger names in the music industry. So I couldn't have been more suprised when I found ...

Beyond the Reflection's Edge by Bryan Davis
After reading Dragons in our Midst and the beginning of the Oracles of Fire series, I confess I wasn't sure what to expect from this new book that did not promise fantastical adventures with knights and dragons. Despite my initial doubts, I am relieved ...

Self-titled by Gaetz Ave.
It is really very sad that this duo has split since this article was written. I managed to buy one of the last copies of their self-titled CD in my local Christian bookstore, and I loved every song immedietly. I fully support the possibility that, had ...
