""Strive to choose, not that which is easiest, but that which is most difficult. Do not deprive your soul of the agility which it needs to mount up to Him." - Saint John of the Cross
Nothing is at last sacred but the integrity of your mind." -R.W. Emerson
(not sure you could consider this a saying but maybe you could say it is..)
"'Tis the good reader that makes the good book; in every book he finds passages which seem to be confidences or sides hidden from all else and unmistakably meant for his ear; the profit of books is according to the sensibility of the reader; the profound thought or passion sleeps as in a mine, unitl it is discovered by an equal mind and heart." -R.W. Emerson
On Wisdom: "For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord. But who fails to find me harms himself; all who hate me love death." -Proverbs 8:35-36
"The opposite of love is not hate. It is selfishness."
"Love is blind. Friendship closes its eyes."

About Me I guess I'm too old to believe in fairy tales and stuff that keep me from getting up from the bed, but I still wonder if I do have superpowers or something, or if I will ever find true love.

A perfect self-identification.

The Bluebird and the Sparrow (Women of the West #10) by Janette Oke I read this book when I was thirteen, the stage in a teenager when everything about looks is top priority, and the concept of self-esteem seem to be measured by one's civil status.
At the stage what was hard for me to accept was how I fell short of ...

The Oath by Frank Peretti This is the book that made me believe that modern Christian writers can make it to the science fiction world of literature. Perhaps Frank Peretti has been saying it for years. But he says it better everytime.
He sure did scare me with this book, ...
