About Me Stephan Potgieter (rhymes with “Peter”) has a very versatile tenor voice but he is also committed to portraying the deeper meaning of the music he performs. Old and young alike will be especially touched by his exceptional version of songs like You Raise Me Up, The Holy City, Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring and Great is Thy Faithfulness.
His musical journey started when he sung his first church solo at five years of age. Originally, Stephan came from South Africa where he has been broadcast on national radio and toured, performing for audiences of up to 20,000 people.
Since migrating to Australia in 2004, Stephan has a growing reputation as an exceptional soloist who has performed in many concerts, church services and other special events. This tenor has performed in several charity events. He has now recorded three full-length albums – “Amigos Para Siempre (Friends For Life)”, “He Was There All The Time” and “Everlasting Light”.
