Don't think I'm lenient on my reviews...

I started thinking about something just today while writing a review. I don't rate anything less than a four-star... Pleae, don't let this lead you to believe that I am lenient. Quite the contrary, I am a critical, tell it how it is kind of person. Just turns out that I'm rating all of my favorite CDs first. I'll get to the not so good sometime. I just want to make sure that, if nothing else, I help make someone's decision about tryng out a new band. I could choose to spend my time reviewing Hawk Nelson with the aim of scaring any potential fans away. But, I feel my current approach is much more productive. Not to mention I don't feel nearly as childish or hypocritcal this way...
