I believe that if we cannot make up our minds how to act in a situation, then look at the life of Jesus - because: "Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus" (Philippians chapter 2, verse 5). Jesus lived among the people in the bottom of the social structure; the poor, neglected people in despair, the one's who suffered from serious diseases, the one's who starved in body and soul, the people that the world disgusted and scorned, etc. But NO ONE was too low for Him to serve. He showed mercy, forgiveness, unselfishness, humility, care, patience, joy, gratitude, compassion, and love. When we strive to do the same, we make Jesus happy. "And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death — even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" (Philippians chapter 2, verse 8-11).
Have you tried forgetting that you don't have to deserve forgiveness and salvation? Even though it's not the intention, we sometimes end up forgetting about Him and focus on ourselves instead. Maybe we try to endeavour an extreme self-control - but in the long run, no one is able to avoid making mistakes. So it's not the right solution. Instead, we should never underestimate Him. God is able to quenche our spiritual thirst and fill us with His infinite love! If we don't allow Him to reach us with His love, we don't give Him acces to our hearts, minds, lives, acts. We need to realize that God loves us for exactly who we are. When we aknowledge that, I believe He'll start transforming and shaping us and draw us much closer to Him.

Jeg tror, det er på tide, at jeg skriver endnu en blog.
Ja, jeg har det godt og nyder min sommerferie. Hver dag øver jeg mig i at spille keyboard, hvilket bringer mig meget glæde. Jeg ser frem til at spille nogle lovsange på keyboardet! Hvis I har nogle sange at anbefale, så er jeg åben over for forslag, haha (; Jeg har også meget tid til rådighed, som jeg bruger på at hænge ud med mine venner, familie og Jesus. Fedt! Wow, det bringer mig til hvad jeg virkelig ønskede at dele i denne blog - min anerkendelse af, at den slags oplevelser, vi finder i Herren, i sandhed er kostbare og uvurderlige: Kan du forestille dig et liv uden røde solnedgange, synet af majestætiske bjerge og enorme verdenshave, den fine duft af blomster, lyden af fuglenes kvidren, når du vågner om morgenen, osv.? Alle disse ting er skabt af Skaberen og Hans hånd. Hvad med at undvære at spille fodbold med din 6-årige fætter eller at give din ven et knus? Guds trøstende hånd på din skulder i de svære tider og hans smilende ansigt, når du er glad? Jep, jeg kender en fyr, der bor i et fattigt land. Hans familie har svært ved at finde penge nok til børnenes skolegang og uddannelse, måske også dagliglivet. Men den her dreng har et forbløffende livssyn og en stærk tro på Kristus. Den Ene, han følger, er den Eneste Ene, som virkelig ved, hvad der er bedst for ham... og for dig, mig, os alle sammen. Jeg har læst en dagbog, som fortæller om et lille, mexikansk barn uden nogle vand- og sanitetsinstallationer eller elektricitet i hjemmet, men med den gæstfrihed og generøsitet der behøves for at give en kold Coca-Cola til sin nye gæst fra et fremmed land, fordi gæsten så tørstig ud! Gang på gang hører jeg mennesker fortælle, hvordan Gud har ændret dem, igen og igen oplever jeg mine bønner opfyldt og ser kærlighed blive spredt i Guds navn. Ligesom Mother Teresa sagde, tror jeg også, at "vi aldrig finder ud af alt det gode et simpelt smil kan bringe med sig." Lad os prøve at følge Jesu eksempel. Husk på at "ingen er for fortabt for mig at elske, ingen er for lav for mig at tjene" ligesom Santus Real synger i "The Face of Love" - sikke en inspirerende sang :) Guds medfølelse fortsætter med at overvælde mig, mens jeg lærer Ham endnu bedre at kende. Ja, du kan aldrig vide, hvor meget Gud er i stand til at gøre med dig, før du giver up og lader Ham tage kontrollen. Jeg ved, at det er sandt og bliver ved med at stræbe efter det i stadigt større omfang. Frelseren er ubeskrivelig god, og Hans kærlighed er større, end hvad jeg kan begribe. Lad os prise Ham! <><
I guess it’s time for me to write another blog.
So yeah, I’m doing well, enjoying my summer vacation. Each day, I practice playing the keyboard which brings me lots of joy. I’m looking forward to playing some Christian worship songs on the keys! If you have any songs to recommend, I’m open to suggestions, haha (; I'm also having much time at my disposal which I spend on hanging out with friends, family and Jesus. Awesome! Wow that leads me to what I really wanted to share in this blog – my awareness that the kinds of experiences we find in the Lord truly are priceless and invaluable: Can you imagine a life without red sunsets, the sight of majestic mountains and enormous oceans, the sweet smell of flowers, the sound of bird’s twitter when you wake up in the morning, etc.? All those things are created by the Maker and His hand. What about playing soccer with your 6-year-old cousin or giving your friend a hug? God’s comforting hand on your shoulder in times of need, and His smiling face when you’re happy? Yup, I know a guy living in a poor country. His family is having a hard time trying to afford schooling and education, perhaps daily life, too. But this boy has got an amazing outlook on life and a strong faith in Christ. The One he is following is the Only One who truly knows what's best for him... and for you, me, all of us. I’ve read a journal telling about a young Mexican kid with no plumbing or electricity at home, but with the hospitality and generosity to give away a cold Coca-Cola to his new guest from a foreign country because the guest looked thirsty! Time and time again, I hear people telling about the ways God moves in them, time after time, I experience my prayers fulfilled and see love spread in the name of God! As Mother Teresa said, I believe that “we shall never know all the good that a simple smile can do.” Let’s try to follow Jesus’ example. Remember that “no one is too lost for me to love, no one is too low for me to serve” like Sanctus Real sings in “The Face of Love” – what an inspiring song, by the way :) God’s compassion continues to overwhelm me as I get to know him even better. Yeah, you can never know how much God is able to do with you until you give up control and let him take over! I know it’s true and keep striving for it to a continual bigger extent. The Saviour is indescribably good, and His love goes beyond my imagination. Let’s praise Him! <><
