|Doctor Who: Introduction

(*Note: This is not meant to be a professional review. This is my views on a TV Show I love very much but it is also meant to come out as if I were writing in a journal)
So this year, as some of you will know, I embarked on a journey to listen to every artist in the JFH database (which is turning out to be a mammoth task just like I thought). What most of didn’t know is that I had embarked on an even bigger journey…watching every Doctor Who episode since it’s early beginning back in 1963. So without any further ado let’s get into the introduction of Season 1 (1963).
Way back in 1963 the BBC (British Broadcasting Company) decided to put some of their financing into a little show called Doctor Who. In the 70’s BBC had a junking policy which erased over half of the episodes in production. But with the loyal fans Doctor Who had many of the episodes were recovered, but quite a few remain unrecovered and only exist as audio recordings and pictures.
So after reading all the background on the junking policy and Doctor Who, and being a New Who fan I decided to start watching the Classic Series to see how it all began.
Just this week I finished watching Doctor Who: Season 1, which aired back in 1963. I am going to go through episode by episode and give you my thoughts on each episode.
