My heart breaks. Not because of a girl, or because of any individual person or event. But because so many people in this world long for love, peace, and joy, but they deny it from God. They deny it from the only One who offers it free, and unconditionally. The only One who will never let you down, if you learn to truly trust Him. They deny it, and they look for substitutes. They look for things to ease the pain and loneliness, and they tell God "You are not enough".  Then they lose control. The things they seek to ease the pain start to control them, even without them realizing it, and it begins to determine their thoughts, feelings, and actions. And all they end up doing is deepening the pain and loneliness. I've seen people, great people, who let things control them and turn into different people. The good news? God doesn't give up, and He never will. He cares about each person and will pursuit each one and show each one His love in His timing.  For those of you that read this and think it's ridiculous, you don't truly know my God. And that is why my heart breaks. For that reason, I pray for you.. Some people wonder why I'm so happy all the time. Yeah,sure, I have bad moments, bad days. But I'm joyous. Well, here's your answer. So take a leap of faith, because earthly things will not provide that true love, joy, or peace.
