MWAMTour

 

However, it’s not something that comes in great quantities while traveling on a bus around the nation for six weeks. Still, the cast of the Music With A Mission Tour is being treated with a wonderful two day break in Texas this week as we recharge our internal batteries and prepare for the West Coast leg of the tour!

 

Relaxing aside, it was an eventful weekend for sure! From playing with Switchfoot in Alabama (*COUGH*Isnuckinthephotopitanddidntgetcaughtanditwasawesome*COUGH*) to hanging with one of the best crowds of the tour yet in Springfield, MO! (Shout-out to Travis who’s been reading the blog… so cool to have met you!)
 

(I was pretty much freaking out.)

 

The biggest part of my weekend however had to be meeting up in Illinois with fellow NRT writer, Mary Burklin! She snapped some epic pictures of the show which she’ll be sharing in the next few weeks… keep an eye out on NRT’s Facebook Page for her coverage!

Another fun adventure that happened in Illinois? I may or may not have snuck four girls backstage in an attempt to meet Family Force 5. Did we get caught? Did they meet the band? Did we find Carmen San Diego?! You’ll just have to tune into the new video blog to find out! (Hint: We don't.)

With the technical dramas of last week far behind us, this week holds the promise of new adventures, and more lives to be changed. Who doesn’t love that?!
