Is It Just Me, Or Is Spring The New Fall? Category: Music Views: 124 Alright, what do you think of when you think of fall, music-wise? You think NEW MUSIC! Well, let's take a look at history. Last fall, we had new music from Skillet, Jeremy Camp, Newsboys, and Chris Tomlin, oh, and anticipation for the new Relient K and tobyMac. What came in the spring? Relient K, tobyMac, The Almost, Group 1 Crew, and Anberlin. Let's look at Fall 2007. MercyMe, Demon Hunter, SCC, and the end of Jump5 (Thank God). For spring we have The Afters, Sanctus Real, Hawk Nelson, Stellar Kart, Pillar, and Leeland. Do I heard the word, trend? Why is this? I mean don't they want to be there for the Christmas season? And it's not a few more quality releases, it's a lot more. So what's the deal? All I can say is, I can't wait for spring! Note: I didn't include Christmas albums since they're seasonal.
