Conformity is normal...but not. Category: Misc Thoughts Views: 274 Everyone conforms. There is no such thing as non-conformity. To try not to conform to the norm does not make one a non-conformist, because one would then be conforming to the non-conforming crowd of conformists. And those that choose to conform, simply conform. With that said, conformity is normal, one could say. However no one is ever exactly normal because who is to say what is normal? Is normal what the majority of the world perceives as socially and politically safe? But if everyone conforms, then we are all normal. But then normal would lose it's meaning. There would be nothing to compare the norm with. So no one is normal. And yet we all are because of the fact that we all conform. But not. Aah. Such a conundrum.
