Stars- How could evolution do that? Category: Misc Thoughts Views: 188
Last night in Youth we watched Louie Giglio preach at a concert for Chris Tomlin's 'How Great Is Our God' tour. He started out talking about stars. He started explaining how big these stars were. One star you could fill 3,000 Superdomes with golfballs (which represented the Earth) and fill it into the star. He brought a golf ball with him and said 'If the earth was this golf ball..." and explain some more heights of stars.
I was absolutely shocked at this. All the people who were in that room were stunned. I had my mouth open a couple times because my brain couldn't contain it.
We only watched half of the video but I was shocked.
Then a question popped into my mind this morning. How could evolution create stars? I mean something as massive as a star. But we were reading out of Psalm 139 and it says God breathes stars. Actually breathes stars. It never hit me like that. I knew that He created everything but I've never heard He breathes stars. And when I heard that I remember Aslan in the Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. He breathed on Tumnus and a bunch of other creatures and they came to life.
What can I say? I am still shocked. Breathing stars. Wow
