The Bleeding Category: Poetry Views: 191 The Bleeding 10/02/09 Your lancet cuts me deeply But I'm so used to leeches They satisfied themselves But never thought of me Blood streams from my body Either way Chorus: The poison drains Weak from loss You bind my wounds Upon the cross In agony You share the bleeding With me Cool cloths to calm the fever That doesn't lessen with time Fighting hallucinations They're only in my mind You break through the dreams Bring day Chorus Holding me as You take away Every viral strain Holding me until the day I release the pain Chorus x 2
