"Da Date"
I don't know if it was da sip of da powerade
or me bein laid up in the shade
all I know is what the girl had to say
"You be lookin fine today"
far be it for me to disagree
it was an oppurtunity I could see
for me to show the gentleman I could be
said "hey ya like to go on a date?"
she said "sweet that'd be great"
I told her I'd be there by eight
she said just don't be late
said "where's the place?"
response big red house by the lake
chorus - findin my attires gonna take a while
since I'm gettin my crunkest style
put on my awesome shirt
time to gel my hur
gonna strut my stuff
till they can't gets dem enough
pulled up in her drive
blastin me some family force 5
walked to the door and rung the door bell
answered by the father I could tell
with a zoom she rushed down the stairs
with joy like a thousand state fairs
bein a gentleman opend the car door for her
she replied "thanks kind sir"
clicked the seatbelt and porceeded to our destination
the place earlier I called and got a reservation
it's gonna be an awesome I promise melissa
she replied "uhhh my name's larissa"
with suprise I replied "oh I'm sorry"
she said "don't worry it's no biggy"

is that I'm tryin my hardest to keep it tight
take it way past just alright
shootin for above outta sight
gonna give my best stuff
till she can't get her enough
We pulled up to the restaurant
My date I couldn't help but flaunt it
Until He said they had no reservation for me
The only way I could get in was with a huge fee
So I paid it wanting to impress her and keep her happy
I was hoping dinner wasn't too much cuz i didn't have much cash left on me
We got through the appetizer then the entree
The price of it we could have went to a buffet
You would have thought we would have been dining with bobby flay
Needless to say I didn't have enough cash
When I saw her face I wanted to make a mad dash
The valet got my car and came by with a splash
We got soakin wet, then left and out of nerves I got lost
I starting going crazy after a while of that exhaust
Then I blacked out, I wake up the next morning in my bed
I felt so bad I wish i was dead
From then on she ignored me treated me like i was a gnat
It doesn't matter cuz I know i am still a cool cat.
