Not Too Bad | Posted February-25-2010
I have listened to this CD 3 times so far. This is the first time I have ever listened to anything by TRS.Overall it isn't bad.I enjoyed most of the songs.I listened with an open mind and I must confess I may be a new fan of TRS.His voice is not too bad and he is very talented if he plays all the instruments.
I'm glad to see he is from Texas like me.

The Night Watcman is a hit | Posted February-23-2010
Ray Quinn,an ex Orlando,Florida homicide detective
takes a job at as a night watchman for a nice condo unit in the city.His life is changed when Pam Winters,the sister of David Winters (a pastor
who runs a local minisry)is found dead in his room at the condos alomg with a young lady who is a dancer at the stip club. The police have closed this case as a murder-suicide but Pam believes her brother was murdered.She asks Ray to help her
find the killer.
So begins the story of The Night Watchman.This book will have you up all night.It is hard to put dowm for all the suspense and drama the author puts in this book.Ther is a lot of twists and turns in the story line - it was very hard for me to put the book down.
The cast of characters in this book is excellent.
My favorite is Crevis,Ray's friend from the night
watchman job.The rest of the cast is also develpoed well.
I esp. enjoyed how Ray put all his clues together
to figure out who the killer was.He runs a first class murder investigation.I liked reading how his mind worked out the case.
Mr. Mynheir has really outdone himself with this book. It is excellent !! Anyone who enjoys a suspense filled,action packed story - this is the book for you.

I had enough NRT points to receive an autographed copy of this CD.I have listened to it several times and my spirit is refreshed every time I hear it.Mark's lyrics are genuine and they are very heartfelt. There is not a bad song on this CD.From the opening song,"All Has Been Forgiven to the last song,"Love Has Come",this CD will pull at your heartstrings as well as encourage you to continue to live your life for the Lord.
There is always one song on every MS CD that makes me cry. Y'all remember "When You Get Home",
"He's My Son","Letters From War", and "Walking Her Home".For this CD,"What It Means To Be Loved"
did it to me. I played it for my wife and she cried too. It is an awesome song.Anyone who has had a hard delivery with a child will love this song.We hugged our daughter after hearing it.
Every Mark Schultz CD is good but IMO,this is his best one.He is one of my favorite artists.I look forward to all of his stuff.He has written and performed songs that have truly blessed mt life.

The Knight | Posted February-15-2010
Patrick Bowesrs returns for another suspense filled murder mystery in Steven James thriller entitled "The Knight". Aseries of murders takes place in and around the Dever,Colorado area and FBI special agent Bowers finds himself up to his neck in the case.He also continiues to struggle with being a step-father to Tessa,ateen ager with
problems of her own.
This book is action packed from beginning to end.I
hate to say any more about it without giving any of the book away.With that being said,I highly recommend this book.This is my favorite of the three out so far.This book is loaded with action and suspense.It will be hard to put down once you start it.
If you are a fan of Ted DEkker,John Olson and other action writers you will like this book.
I can't wait for this summer when book four of the Bowers series,"The Bishop" comes out. As I have said before,this book would make an excellent movie.
Steven James has done it again.I did not think he couls top his last book,but he has.

All Is Right With This CD | Posted February-11-2010
Arizona based Stellar Kart has hit the mother lode with its new release "Everything Is Different Now".The Cd kicks off with "All My Heart",a great song packed with powerful lyrics.This song encourages us to shine our light in dark places as well as let us know we belong to Jesus.The title song is an excellent ballad exalting the Lord for all things good in our lives.
"It's Not Over" as well as "Rescue" are good songs as well. I enjoyed Stellar Kart's rendition
of the Matt Redman song "You Never Let Go" as well
as Audio Adrenaline's "Until My Heart Caves In".
Both songs are done well. I am hoping that the song "Spirit In The Sky" is also a SK version of the classic song by Norman Greenbaum. I can't wait to hear it.
I have every SK CD and I must say that this is an
excellent CD. I like this CD a lot and will highly recommend this to all fans of SK.This would be an excellent choice to have new fans of the group hear and enjoy.

The Wait Is Over | Posted February-04-2010
Fireflight has done it again.Their third release "For Those Who Wait" is a fine album.I enjoyed the strigs on this song very much.Dawn's voice is very distinctful and powerful.My favorite songs are "Desperate","What I've Overcome","New Perspective" and "You Give Me A Feeling". These songs are what has made Fireflight a good rocking band.
The best song on the CD is "Name".It is a great ballad with powerful lyrics.I would not be surprised at all to see this song played on CCM radio stations.
Overall,this CD is very good. My only complaint is that it only has 10 songs.
Fireflight is rapidly moving up the ladder as a staple for Christian rock.The sky is the limit for this band.I urge everyone to pick up this CD.

What an Album | Posted January-29-2010
Audio A's 8th album "Until My Heart Caves In" is one for the ages.Longtime lead singer Mark Stuart
unique voice(he sounds a little like rocker Rod Stewart)is less present on this Cd as in the past.
This Cd features lead guitarist Tyler Burkum on many songs with Mark doing duty as backup.Tyler does a good job singing on "Starting Over" and "Are You Ready For Love". Mark's raspy,familiar voice can be heard on catchy tunes such as "King","Undefeated" and Clap Your Hands".
I esp. enjoyed AA version of "Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher".This is definitely one of the highlights of the CD.The final song "Losing Control"is a touching,sentimental,heart-wrenching song.
For any fan of AA this is a must have CD.My only complaint is that it is too short (Only 11 songs).
AA was the first Christian band I ever listened to.They will forever hold a special place in my heart and soul.

Day of Fire Is Back !! | Posted January-21-2010
After several years of hibernation, DOF is back with "Losing All". The album starts off with a great song,"Light 'Em Up". I had several flashbacks to my BC days with this song. I could have sworn this was Jim Morrison and the Doors playing this song.The main difference is this song has a whole different connotation.I also liked "Lately","Landslide" and MY favorite song on the CD,"Hey You". I hope this song is a big hit for DOF.I also enjoyed "The Dark Hills". This song has some great lyrics.
I would agree with an earlier reviewer that the song "Airplane" is very good. It did take me hearing it several times before I came to this conclusion.
IMHO,this is an excellent CD. If you enjoy bands that rock,go get this CD.

Welcome This Hurricane | Posted November-17-2009
Living on the Gulf Coast,I have had my share of hurricanes recently.Hurricans Rita and Ike are two that will never be forgotten in SE Texas.
The new CD from Switchfoot,"Hello Hurricane" is another story.I welcome this hurricane with open arms !! This is the best CD Switchfoot has EVER put out.Every song is great. My favorite song is "The Sound". Other great songs on this CD are "Mess of Me","Needle and Haystack Life" as well as two awesome ballad-type songs "Your Love is a song" and "enough to let me go".The lyrics to these songs are very catchy.I find myself humming and singing these songs in my head quite often.
Words cannot express howtruly awesome this CD is.
This is a must have for any music lover.

I Confess -This is Great !! | Posted October-13-2009
I have been patiently waiting for the "new" Pillar to release their CD. Let me tell you,it was well worth it. "Confessions" is a must have for devoted Pillar fans.The CD opens with a brief Intro leading in to a fine song,"Fire on the Inside".I love the way Pillar puts out a great rockin' beat with lyrics that speak of God's love for us and other spirit filled messages.In My opinion, there is not a bad song on this CD. My favorites are "Whatever it Takes", "Secrets and Regrets" and "Lose it All". They have 2 great ballads on the CD, "Better Off Now" and "Will You be There". The best song on the CD I have saved for last - "Shine". I love this song !! I am sure this song will be #1 on Christian rock radio in the not too distant future.
I love Pillar !! The new additions to the band are great. I cannot wait to see them on tour with this CD. I know it will be an awesome show.
