the guys in grand incredible didnt let me down when i decided to buy before listening, the overall sound is stripped down to instraments and voice but these guys pull off a great MXPX vibe on their upbeat songs and it gives a great feeling of " hey, i could do that! " that often leads to me singing along or getting into the grove moving with the music.
the reason i took half a star off is because im not a fan of the lakers... and they have three songs dedicated to the lakers on the disc, the reason its only half a star is because they are well done songs and it shows that these guys are well... guys. it kinda makes me feel like i know them better because of it.
all and all, the all the songs have good points in their lyrics, they have a clever delivery that dosent need the frils of manufactured music to pull of a great combination of slower, deeper songs and a great collection of motivating upbeat crazy songs. im a really big fan of how they are real about life in general being honest about living as a Christian, its great for focusing on what matters.
by the way, this music is aimed more for highschool / college peoples, but again, there is music on here for anyone who likes to rock out with upbeat tunes.

ive got hooked on the classic crime since albatross and this album just feeds my addiction more, its musically solid and moving, lyrically its brutally honest and transparent... even raw at some points, i love the way the vocalist yells ( not screams ) to get that edge of rock on some of the more intese songs. and one of the songs has cowbell in it, i mean can it get any better?
the only reason i took half a star off is because i sense in this album that the crimes sound is adopting some pop elements, its not to the point where this album could be labeled pop, i just hear that overall the songs are alot lighter then albatross and i honestly wish they would remain rock.
so overall, a great mix of albatross rock and seattle sessions slower emotional music, all of it is lyrically intelligent honest and brutally acurate to life in general. i cant wait for the next release!

this is the first album that ive consistantly listened to, i usually just pick and choose songs to go in a playlist but this entire album blends together so well its hard for me to break it up. the sound is more pulsing rock, not very raw or emotional, and the entire album compliments itself. great for people who dont want angry rock but still like a solid beat. the vocals are strange at times but they play off eachother well and give a different sound to the entire peice. id recommend it for people just to broaden their horizons!

honestly, this book introduced me to someone being able to write for a living, and he definately earns his keep. the way he describes things and his experiences is amazing and beautiful. its made me look at certin aspects of my faith in a whole new light, taking things into consideration... the big one for me was tithing and giving to the Church. i dont want to ruin the way he looks at it but for me its really life changing.
i would recommend it for all christians if nothing else but to realize how our faith really isnt based on words and ideas alone, its about taking action.

This is the album that got me into modern Christian Rock... they do scream a bit but its well placed and good for broadening horizons.
ive had this CD for over a year and i can still pick it up and listen to it and rock out to it just the same as when i first got it
