This is definitely one of the most creative and insightful books I have ever read. Shannon Primicerio's thoughtful writing and allegorical theme has spoken to many people,including myself. Her theme is skillfully carried throughout every chapter,not once seeming stretched beyond it's literary limits. The comparison of the lives we lead to one great dance or performance,might seem pretty simple at the surface.But when it's fully explored,you start to realize it's profound and penetrating nature....We all do our very best to be accepted on some level.As Shannon explains in her book,we figure out what people expect from us at an early age and we do our best to meet those expectations.In many ways, peoples' lives are like performances....for family,friends,or even strangers.
In her book Shannon gives advice to girls about God,guys,life,ambition,and many other issues high school and college aged girls are facing. I would highly recommend this book to every young woman,because no matter what your ambition or lifestyle,there is something in this book for you.

This is one of the most captivating books I have read. I LOVE this book! Nathaniel Hawthorne must have been some kind of genius! This book is full of so many different kinds of literature,there's something in it for everyone....It's definitely worth reading!

I didn't think I would be,but I am super into this band.Despite the fact that there are many other bands out there that sound very similar to Above The Golden State,it's like they bring something new and fresh to this type of music...I'M A FAN!!!!!

It was just out of curiosity that I picked up this cd...glad I did! These dude are pretty impressive musicians to be so young...I mean their lead singer was only like 18 when this cd came out!I really like Nebulous and Something More...but all of them rock!!!!!!!!!

When I first heard Dalton's song "City Lights," I thought that their cd would probably be pretty good...maybe even really good.But when I actually heard it,it was just ok for me.Nothing was majorly original or unique. Their melodies are pretty good,but other than that it was just ok.

These guys are definitely one of my favorite bands right now! They are in the same category with TONS of other bands their style,but they seem to bring their own spin on this genre. I think the songs are well written and I can't seem to stop listening to"Crazy Beautiful." I love these guys!

I read about these guys on Solid State's website about 6 months ago and just new from what they said that this cd would be good...but I didn't expect for it to be THIS good. The Ascendicate DEFINITELY has a bright future on the Christian metal scene!
Scottish,You And Me,We Didn't Click,Fire That Kid,and A Bit Of History are my absolute favorites...but all of the songs are very good!The Ascendicate would probably be for fans of:Slipknot,Underoath,Burden Of A Day,and Demon Hunter

I am actually really impressed with these guys. I wasn't a huge fan of Casting Pearls,but I am loving VOTA's music. Their song Hard To Believe is definitely my favorite off this record. :) I think this band has a bright future!

I have never heard anything quite like Within Temptation's music. Many people compare them to Evanescence,but I think that they are in a league of their own. Sharon has such an amazing,almost operatic voice and coupled with choir pieces and string arrangements,it develops into something epic. I highly recommend their music,all of it is good.But The Heart Of Everything is incredible!

This band is INCREDIBLE!!! Although many people will take issue with a "lack" of lyrical content,this cd is well worth your time! These dudes have an awesome sound. They kind of remind me of a hybrid of Family Force 5 and The Devil Wears Prada....Like I said, INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!
