This is an incredibly awesome album. This is one of my all-time favorite albums.
I enjoy every song on this album, which is rare. It's not often when I run across an album like that. Some I like better than others, but I like them all.
"Lifesong" is a classic Casting Crowns song. "Praise You in this Storm" and Set Me Free" well, the Titles speak for themselves. Great song!!! "Does Anybody Hear Her" is one of my favorites. Sometimes the Church misses what is really important and we can't really see the hurting world all around us. Incredible video to this song. "Stained Glass Masquerade" is a great song dealing with hurting people within the Church. Another great song! The "Prodigal" is also a great song for anyone struggling. God will take you back!!! "And Now my Lifesong concludes the album. It is short, but I love it!!! Their are several other really good songs on the album like "Love Them Like Jesus."
This is an alround GREAT album that I highly recommend! If you every get the chance to see them in person, GO!!! As far as I'm concerned, Mark Hall is as good, if not the best songwriter out there today. He can say more in 2 sentences, than many preachers can in a whole serman. They music has been a big influence in my life and has helped get me through some of lifes most difficult times.
Keep on doing it Casting Crowns!!! Stay humble!!!God will reward you for the great work you are doing!!

This is an awesome album!!! And being their first, what an incredible way to start!!! The first time I heard them, must have been not long after this album was released. I saw a Church drama that used some of their songs. After it was over I had to find out who it was that was singing these songs. They really ministered to me.
No doubt about it, the first 5 songs on the album are definitely my favorites. I really don't get to listen to the others as much, they may grow on me if I got to listen to them more?
"American Dream" is a song I wish all of America could listen to along with the video. That is a song that could and probably has changed a multitude of people and homes, for the glory of God! If you are spending most of your time trying to make an extra dollar and neglecting your family, this is a song/video you need to hear/watch.
"What if His People Prayed" and "If We are the Body" are a couple of songs the Churchs need to hear.
"Who am I" and Voice of Truth" talks to me more individually. Powerful lyrics!!!
The only drawback I have is that on my stereo, some of it somes a little harsh. But even though it does, I love this album. Again, the lyrics are powerful. If you don't have it, I highly recommend it!!!
