Outstanding Rap Album! | Posted August-09-2009
Lecrae is my favorite rapper to date. His albums also just seem to keep getting better and better!

The songs that can be found on Lecrae's newest album, "Rebel", sound somewhat different than those from his previous albums, but that's not necessarily a bad thing at all! The beats and the message in these songs are outstanding! Some of my favorites include "Don't Waste Your Life", "Go Hard", "Identity", "Got Paper", and "I'm A Saint". The other songs are additionally good, but those are just some of my favorites.

The well-written songs on "Rebel" challenge believers to evangelize and live a life that is pleasing to Christ. Lecrae's rapping is simply so much more than just a bunch of words!

I recommend this CD to anybody, but especially anybody who is into secular rap. Lecrae and the 116 Clique prove that there is rap out there that has a great beat and a GREAT message. After listening to "Rebel", you can't help but be fired up for Christ!

Very Worthwhile Book! | Posted August-01-2009
"Scientific Facts In The Bible" is a book that is incredibly useful as a believer. It is packed full of evidence and proof of how the Bible can be proven true. "Scientific Facts In The Bible" shows you Bible verses that contain scientific truth that was written in the Bible hundreds or even thousands of years before it was actually discovered by man! You can show people these verses and let them know that the Bible is indeed free of errors and inspired by God!

Chapters in the book include: Science and the Bible, The Incredible Book of Job, Medical Science and the Bible, Science and Genesis, Scientists and the Bible, Biology and the Bible, The Bible's 100% Accurate Prophecies, Astronomy and the Bible, Historical Figures and the Bible, Archaeology and the Bible, The Bible's Historical Accuracy, Evolution and the Bible, and Science and Evolution.

I would recommend this book to any believer, especially one who is wondering how to defend the Bible! "Scientific Facts In The Bible" is also a quick read -- only 95 pages!

A Well Put Together Greatest Hits Album | Posted July-27-2009
As my initial reaction, I must say that this is a well put together greatest hits compilation. You get a large variety of the newsboys songs, from "poppy" songs, to a little rock, and even some techno!

I also have to say that the Newsboys are an interesting group. A couple of the songs (for example, "Breakfast" or "Shine") I had to look up the lyrics for because at first they didn't make any sense at all! "Shine" started to make some sense, but I am yet to discover the meaning of the song "Breakfast"!

Songs I especially enjoyed included "Joy", "It Is You", and "Stay Strong". A couple of the fun songs on the CD include "I Fought The La" and "In The Belly Of The Whale".

The album has a total of 18 songs, including two new recordings ("Stay Strong" and "I Fought The La") and 16 previously released songs.

If you are not a Newsboys fan, but are somewhat interested in their music, then I highly recommend this CD!

The Best Worship CD I've Heard! | Posted July-17-2009
Lincoln Brewster's album, "Today Is The Day" is truly a worship experience like none other. The guitar-laden songs and deep, meaningful lyrics are some of the elements that separate this CD from the crowd. Some of my favorite songs are "Everywhere I Go" and "Let Your Glory Shine", but then again, I like all of the songs on "Today Is The Day"! "Let Your Glory Shine" is filled with guitar riffs and solos that are sure to make you smile! The song, "The Power Of Your Name" is a very powerful song with very deep lyrics. This song talks about living for Christ and changing the world for Him.

Lincoln Brewster is a truly talented guitarist and worship leader, and I highly recommend that you take a look at this CD!

Great Worship Album! | Posted July-07-2009
This is now one of my favorite CD's! It has some very well written lyrics to some very catchy music. I like the idea of a artist compilation/duet featuring new music, similar to how the "Glory Revealed" CD's do. Some of my favorite songs on the CD are "Life" which features Joel Auge and Leeland Mooring, "Healer" which features Paul Baloche and Aaron Shust, and "Shepherd" which is a solo by Ian Eskelin. My favorite song on the CD is "Rock" which features Adam Agee (of Stellar Kart) and Lincoln Brewster. This song is very upbeat and very easy to get stuck on your mind, which is a good thing! All of the songs, except "Your Name", were written by Glenn Packiam, Ian Eskelin, Brian White, and Tony Wood. "Your Name" (which was written by Paul Baloche and Glenn Packiam, and performed by Phil Wickham and Paul Baloche) is an excellent version of the popular worship song.

I highly recommend this album to anybody that is looking for some great worship songs!

Great CD! | Posted June-24-2009
"Love At The Core" is the sophomore release from the Tooth and Nail pop/rock band Run Kid Run. I think that it is better than "This Is Who We Are" for having better lyrics in the sense that they contain more of a clear Christian message. There is only one love song on "Love At The Core", which is the song "One In A Million" which is very catchy and memorable. Other songs talk about letting your old self die (in "Fall Into The Light), "Need to learn to let go, let the old die" and life for Christ instead of following the world (in "Sure Shot"), "Why can't we just stop echoing the world?" "Captives Come Home" talks about helping pull your brother in Christ out of a struggle or sin that they might be experiencing, "I'm pulling captives by the hand, come home, come home".

In closing, I think this is a awesome CD. Run Kid Run really has a great sound from David Josiah Curtis's vocals to the guitars. I would highly recommend that you get this CD today!

My Favorite CD! | Posted June-23-2009
This was the first Stellar Kart CD I bought, and I also think it is the best! "Expect The Impossible" has a great, clear message in the songs as well as an upbeat and catchy sound. I would recommend this album to anybody who enjoys rock or pop. Songs like "Automatic" and "The Right One" have a pop sound to them, while other songs like "Shine Like The Stars" and "I Give Up" have a rock sound to them. There are also some slower songs, such as "Pray" and "Letters" that are great along with the rest of the album. It is a great CD to listen to over and over again!

All of the songs also have a clear, understandable, Christian message in them, which makes "Expect The Impossible" truly worthwhile to listen to.

If you enjoy "Expect The Impossible", then I recommend that you take a look at Stellar Kart's other CD's, "All Gas. No Brake.", and "We Can't Stand Sitting Down".
