Christian - Don't Waste Your Life! | Posted May-10-2008
As my title suggests, this book is written for Christians. Our mission is to make much of Christ, and to glorify Him. As John the Baptist said "He [Jesus] must become greater; I must become less" (John 3:30). This book which is so beautifully written by Pastor John Piper elegantly conveys this ever-important message to Christians as a wake-up call. Why are we finding so much joy in worldly things which do not last if Christ is our true Treasure? Is it perhaps because we are not fully living in fellowship with Him? Mr. Piper addresses so many crucial questions in our pursuit to glorify God and defends the idea that "God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him". It seems that this truth has the potential to completely change for the better how many Christians live their lives, and this is the reason why John Piper has written this book. If you want to be inspired to live your life the way God intended for you to live it and to bring Him the glory through all circumstances, then this is a must-read for you! Pick up a copy, read it, and then pass it along to others! And, most of all, don't waste your life, because you have help from the risen Christ to live a life not wasted! Let us pray along with John Piper and say "As God lives, and is all I ever need, I will mot waste my life...through Jesus Christ, AMEN".

It Is Time To Stand For Christ In This World! | Posted February-25-2008
It is awesome that the author of this book, Ron Luce, has the calling to write such a book and be bold in his words & actions. This book is not for the people who want to be lazy in their faith. This book is for serious Christian youth who want to stand up against the lies of the enemy and minister to their fellow peers.

It is time that this current generation of youth stand up for what is truly right: The life and message of Jesus Christ. This book is an awesome battle cry for this generation. It offers effective illustrations that compare the life of a Christian to a real soldier on the battlefield. Both types of commitment should be the same: not to give up until the war is won. For Christians, that is until Jesus comes again. This book has been a huge inspiration to me, and I know it can spur on any youth who is willing to give everything they have for Christ! All glory, honor, and praise be to God!

Brilliant Lyrics, Awesome Vocals, Good Rhythm | Posted January-09-2008
This CD was added to my collection soon after it came out in 2000, and I still listen to it! It is one of my favorite CDs that has stood the test of years of new music. I have always been a fan of Rebecca St. James and this album proves why. I love how the first couple of songs include an orchestra, and then the next few songs seem to stay rocky while shifting away from the orchestra. A seemingly perfect transition between songs makes this one awesome disc. Rebecca has brilliant lyrics, awesome vocals, as well as good rhythm: a must have for all Christian music lovers!
