This book was amazing. His style of writing was kind of how I used to write before I edited every sentence. I found this very relatable, at least for myself. Zack and I both realized that there's still slavery at the same age and also have the passion to cry out for mercy.

This book was easier to follow than the Hobbit, but i also read it after seeing the movies. Some parts made me glad to read the book because they were excluded from the movie. Other scenes I liked better in the movie. When i got near the end it I was so excited, but then i was disappointed that Boromir didn't get shot yet so now I have to read the next book. Which will take me another 5 months because I get too distracted

I read this book a while ago and it took me nine months. I kept reading other things because i felt like it was taking me forever to get through it. Now i am glad that I read it, though a lot of it was too much to remember, possibly because I could not read the maps but that's just my own problem. I guess the main reason I'm thankful that I read it is because I know the meaning of Gollum's riddle/fish song which I included in a story I made up of what happens after Gollum finds the Ring and before Bilbo finds it. I hated the cartoon movie but I'm excited to see the new one :3

Easy to read | Posted August-03-2012
From the very first pages i could see so many parallels. Some of it transcends my mental capability but that's alright because it's still fun to read. Some of the end is from Revelation and the other prophecies, but other parts are changed... because this is Narnia :P
