We start with an exclusive NRT interview with guitarist/producer Mark Townsend who played with Jennifer on the Back 40 Tour and put together the album. He talks about how the project came to be and also gives an update on where Jennifer may be hanging out these days. The first song is certainly one of my favorites, “The Way I Am†and then we move into an amazing live version of “Undo Me†that you have to hear. We close out the set with “His Grace Is Sufficient.†NRT certainly thanks Mark Townsend for giving us a special look into this amazing album.
Next up, we switch gears and feature the latest from the legendary Gaither Vocal Band, featuring new tenor Wes Hampton. “Give It Away†and “Jesus Loves Me†will make a fan out of any music lover. Their harmonies are just incredible.
Finally, we feature a few new songs from Tooth and Nail Records’ Watashi Wa and new group, Sullivan.
Our PodCast continues to grow every week. As of today, we have 412 subscribers through various feed programs, 318 of which are from iTunes. Next week, we’ll preview new music from Cindy Morgan, new group Cross Culture and a few songs from the new Left Behind World At War soundtrack. Until then, enjoy the music!

This is #2 of our three part series highlighting new releases from today. There is so much music coming out, we figured it was our duty to be sure you hear as much as possible. This week, we highlight three new releases for fans of Adult Contemporary, Rock and Modern Praise & Worship.
We start with Stand, the new project from Avalon (pictured left). Almost nine full months in the making, Stand, the group’s 7th studio album to date, is the full-circle recording fans have been waiting anxiously to hear. We feature the first single from the album, “Love Won’t Leave You†and move right into a special moment with the legendary Russ Taff on “We Will Stand.†We wrap up the preview with the powerful song “The Other Side.â€
An album that’s been three years in the making must be pretty serious. Now, P.O.D. is back with the album that many are calling their best work ever. We take a closer look at Testify with a special audio interview from the band talking about the new album in-between three songs from the new album.
Here I Am To Worship Volume 3 continues to bring new modern worship songs to the church. The album has over fourteen tracks, but this week, we feature songs by Jeremy Camp and Kutless. See if you recognize these songs.
And that wraps us up for this week. Because I’m currently on vacation, I can’t look up our stats, so I’ll have an update for you next week. We will continue our preview of new releases for January 24th then as well, since there are no new releases on the 31st. We’ll feature more new music from Jennifer Knapp’s live album along with a few new Tooth and Nail bands that you have to hear! Until then, enjoy the music!

You’ve waited three long weeks for a new PodCast and now that I’ve got Bill peeled out of the chair after too much Christmas Ham and Holiday Eggnog, we’re back! I’m also going to take some more time to discuss the music as well as share some weekly stats on the PodCast for those that want more information.

January 24th marks the first week of new music since last month’s monster 27th release date. Over 30 new releases are hitting shelves so we decided to give a few more albums their time in the spotlight and break up the 24th releases into three shows.
This week, we highlight three new releases for fans of Adult Contemporary, Rock and Gospel. We start with WoW Gospel 2006, the annual collection of the best in Gospel music during the past year. Myron Butler & Levi kick things off with “Set Me Free,†followed by Karan Clark Sheard’s “Authority†and finally, Donald McClurkin’s “I Speak Life.†It’s just a taste of the 30 songs available on this amazing collection.
After a 16-year career defining Christian music with their signature harmonies and inspirational songs, 4HIM has announced the release of their final studio recording on INO Records. Encore: For Future Generations features nine favorite, re-recorded 4HIM songs, in addition to a medley and one new track. You’ll hear that single along with two of their biggest hits, “Basics Of Life†and “Where There Is Faith.†Without question, we’ll all miss the vocal harmonies of 4HIM.
Finally, we wrap up this week’s updates with an amazing live record from Jennifer Knapp (pictured above). Recorded during her 2001’s “The Back Forty Tour,†this CD uncovers new tracks never before released, and showcases the raw power that so many fans fell in love with. We only had one song to play at press time, “Lay It Down,†but we may throw in a few more gems in the near future so stay tuned.
And that wraps us up for this week. Next week we are planning on highlighting new releases from Avalon, P.O.D. and Karen Clark Sheard.
