We kick off a strong month of music with 10 new releases hitting stores and we’ve got a 20 minute podcast packed with the top eight! Slanted Records new artist, Nate Huss, also stops by to talk to us about his debut album, Here With Me. After that, we dive into the new worship themed release from Building 429 (pictured left), the latest solo album from Derek Webb, the kid-friendly group PureNRG, the latest from worship artists Robin Mark and Joel Engle, the soothing instrumental sounds from John Tesh and the latest gospel praise from Sound of the New Breed! Finally, NRT’s Kevin McNeese takes us through last week’s Dove Awards in the New Music News Update.

Featuring an exclusive audio interview and “Mark Across America” preview with Mark Schultz
This week, we break format to catch up with Mark Schultz, who is working on a different type of project this summer as he prepares to Bike Across America to raise support for orphans and widows! From May 6 through early July, Mark will bicycle from California to New Hampshire stopping along the way to perform concerts and special events. We sat down with Mark at a recent concert to get the inside scoop of the heart behind the mission, all while previewing songs from his latest album, Broken & Beautiful.

We kick off this week’s New Christian Music PodCast with a rewind to last month’s “WoW Hymns” album. There have been so many weeks crammed with great releases that we’re just now getting to this, but it’s proof that no good release is left behind here at NRT. After listening to new hymn arrnagements from artists like Casting Crowns, Building 429, Brian Littrell and a few more, we rock out to the new release from The Wedding (pictured left). We wrap up this week with the gospel flava of 7 Sons Of Soul and “rap” up with the new release from Flame.

We kick things off with new music from INO Records’ 33miles’ debut release followed by a preview of last week’s third studio release from Vicky Beeching. Next up, we give an extended two minute preview of KJ-52′s new song “Do Ya Thang” off his album, The Yearbook, along with a few more tracks. Sandi Patty celebrates 25 years of ministry with her new CD and we close with last week’s rock releases from The Chariot and The Almost.

Mullen (her first in three years), a deluxe edition of Strong Tower by Kutless, the debut release from ForeFront Records rockers This Beautiful Republic, Tim Hughes, country legend Martina McBride and the new solo release from Geoff Moore.
