It was wonderful hearing clips of Mandisa’s new music and her speaking the truth of her life. I did see her on AI and I was blown away with her POWERFUL voice. I felt like she was the winner. Because of America’s reaction to her singing a “christian” song and voting her off, I no longer watch AI. That is one of the reasons,however I knew that God had a plan for her life and I am so proud of her sticking to who she is, and it shows that she is grounded in the Lord. She obviously knows where her help comes from, and it is NOT the world. Good for Mandisa!! To her…stay FOCUSED and know that the Lord is your God who loves you and remain in him always. God Bless you!

Mandisa,
I have looked on in amazement and despair at so many people on AI and elsewhere in the entertainment business who call on the Lord as their God and yet do not know how to live for him; their dress, their music, their lifestyle bear the deep marks of this world. If they read the Word then it must be that they don’t understand it.
Finally, I looked at you and watched you very carefully and listened to you and I thought…SHE is GROUNDED in the Lord. She knows of whom she speaks; she understands his call to “come out of her, my people”; she is standing FIRM in her faith which is well placed.
Mandisa, keep on loving him and walking with him and learning to know him better every moment of every day. He has a purpose for your life, and it does not involve denying him and selling out to the world. God has prepared you as with all his children, for great things and it does not necessarily translate into material prosperity but what it always translates into is the tremendous privilege and Joy in working with him to bring news of his kingdom to those who are willing to listen. Your voice and the sweetness of Jesus shining through you are what he has chosen to reflect his character to the world, and to bring you fullness of joy. I love your CD.
